How to Clone ID48 96-Bit Chip by Launch X431 Tool?

Launch X431 updated ID48 96-bit transponder copy/clone function for X431 IMMO/X431 PAD/X431 PRO/CRP919 BT series tablets with X431 Key Programmer on July 16, 2025. The Launch Super Chip and ID48 96-bit token are also required to perform this function (No need IMMO software). Check how to purchase the token and clone ID48 96-bit chip below.

PART I

Purchase ID48 96-bit token in the Mall

Navigate to Mall-> Other Goods

Select the token package you desire:

• ID48 key copy 10 point card configuration (US$23.6)

• ID48 key copy 1 point card configuration (US$3.54)

Input the purchase and delivery information and payment method

Then select “Add”

Make sure the name and contact details are correct

Once the transaction is successful, you can use the tokens to clone ID48 96-bit transponder.

PART II

Clone ID48 96-bit chip by Launch X431 tool

e.g. 2010 Volkswagen Golf

Select [Read Transponder] to detect if the original car key chip is 48 chip.

If yes, the [ID48 (96 bit) online calculation] function will appear.

Insert the original key into the coil of X431 tool for identification.

After identification is successful, start to collect data.

Place the key and move the X431 key programmer close to the ignition switch.

After opening the ignition switch, close it. Repeat this step.

Collect multiple groups of data (up to 8 sets) will be collected in cycles.

Ensure the network connection is normal and upload data

Wait a while for server-side calculations

Place the original key back into the coil

Then place the Super Chip or Super Submachine Chip into the induction coil of X-431 Key Programmer

After the data is written successfully, it means the ID48 96-bit chip cloning process is completed.
